Situated in northwestern France, along the Channel coast, Normandie spans 30,064 km² — the 10th largest of France's 13 métropole régions. It was home to 3,327,966 people as of 2021 (10th most populous), and generated an estimated €117,713 million in GDP in 2024 (ranked 10th). Le Havre, Rouen and Caen are among its largest cities.
OpenPVMapper's latest release puts Normandie at 364.9 MWp of estimated rooftop PV capacity over 44 362 installations — the 11th région in France on that measure.
